We are delighted to bring you this new site for 2020. It is a very small family-run park of approximately 80 pitches surrounded by vineyards near the village of Nissan-lez-Enserune, renowned for its Roman ruins and elaborate field patterns. The only reason we have managed to acquire a few plots (just three) is because the owners managed to get permission for a small extension for 15 pitches on adjacent land.
The campsite has a good-sized pool and tennis court but on-site entertainment is limited. It’s ideal for those seeking a haven of peace and tranquility in the south of France away from the hustle and bustle of the popular beach resorts.
Narbonne is 25 minutes away and Carcassonne an hour.
You can visit the archeological ruins at Enserune and the famous Malpas Tunnel on the Canal du Midi nearby. This is a quiet, rural location set inland, 11 miles from Valras Plage. It makes a perfect base to explore the Languedoc Roussillon region or Occitanie as it is now officially named.
