Set in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne department of Aquitaine, is the small medieval town of Duras. Surrounded by rolling countryside and sandwiched between the Garonne and the Dordogne rivers, this is real France.
The campsite is open all year round to owners so you have a real French retreat 365 days a year. On site you will find a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is a fully licenced restaurant serving locally sourced food and drink. There is also “shop in a box” selling the essentials you may have forgotten on your trip to the shops. Activities and facilities on site include an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded lounge area, a small pond for fishing, and the usual table tennis and petanque areas.
The site has new plots planned so you can choose the area and emplacement for your new home. Twin units are also allowed on site so you are able to go for the large lodge style mobile homes.
The local area is full of beauty, history and of course wine! It is famous for having its own wine appellation, Côtes de Duras, and produces some fantastic Sauvignon blanc and Sémillon if you like white and the reds include Cabernet Sauvignan and Merlot.
